Members are also encouraged to list EvoS books as possible candidates for a next read.  Please include a short summary or link to review or interview that recommends the book. Please email those to me and I will compile the list.  Three candidate books I will put forward:

  1. The Evolution of Everything by Matt Ridley (listen to short podcast here or interview here). This book is guaranteed to challenge something you believe with confidence.
  2. Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, which was recommended on Todd Kashdan’s list of books to read, 2015, though I have since read some reviews critical of this book.  Here in an NPR piece on it.
  3. Dark Matter and the Dinosaurs, which you can read about on Brainpickings.
